Killesberg Park Stuttgart Germany

We've been having some beautiful spring weather here in Suttgart.  From what I'm told that's pretty unusual but we are not complaining.  In fact, we are getting out & enjoying it ever second that we can around here after a long & somewhat gloomy weather.  Down the hill from Robinson Barracks there is a beautiful city park called Killesberg.  We pass it every day on our drive & from the park next to our building we can see the fountains & the climbing tower.  At the turn of the century it was built to be an exhibition park much like Buchart Gardens in Victoria BC.  It's a really lovely park with a huge play area for kids, animals that you can pet/feed, an area with old carnival cars & a small train that you can ride & goes around the entire park.  On special occasions they will bring out a steam engine.  We enjoyed going down on this beautiful Saturday & having a picnic lunch with the kids.  We also visited the park in August while we were still in a hotel awaiting housing.  Some of these pics are from that time as well.  Hopefully we can visit this park many times while we are living here & enjoy all that it has to offer.
One of the fountains..I love that we can see these from our "yard" on  Robinson Barracks (RB)
